Traditional Cupping (Flame)

Cupping is the application of glass or plastic cups to the skin with suction that can be left in place or moved across the skin which mimics the hand movements of myotherapy.

When the hot cup is placed on your skin, the air inside the cup cools and creates a vacuum that draws the skin and muscle upward into the cup. Your skin may turn red as the blood vessels respond to the change in pressure.

Myofascial Cupping (Vacuum)

The suction causes the skin to lift slightly from the muscles and allows impurities to be drawn towards and expelled through the skin's pores.

Cupping has been used to treat a wide variety of conditions. It may be particularly effective at easing conditions that create muscle aches and pains. Since the cups can also be applied to major acupressure points, the practice is possibly effective at treating digestive issues, skin issues, and other conditions commonly treated with acupressure.

Corrective Exercises & Stretches

Corrective exercises are prescribed to gradually strengthen weakened muscles, permanently change dysfunctional patterns, and reduce the chance for re-injury. Stretches are prescribed to lengthen muscles that are shortened and tight.

Temperature Therapy

Temperature Therapy is the application of heat (thermal therapy) or cold (cryotherapy) using heat packs, ice packs, ice baths etc.
It can help to reduce inflammation or increase blood flow, reducing recovery times from injury.

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is a type that’s similar to regular massage – it aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. But prenatal massage is also customized to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies, and therapists trained in prenatal massage adjust their techniques accordingly.
